- Vet Fees: Up to €1,500 per period for injuries and illnesses caused by accidents, covered for up to 12 months per accident.
- Third-Party Liability: For dogs, up to €250,000.
Premier
- Vet Fees: Up to €4,000 per period for identifiable illnesses or injuries, covered for up to 12 months per condition.
- Third-Party Liability: For dogs, up to €250,000.
- Boarding Fees: Up to €500 if you’re hospitalized for over four consecutive days.
- Advertising and Reward: Up to €500 for advertising costs and €200 for a reward if your pet is lost or stolen.
- Loss Due to Theft or Straying: Reimbursement of your pet’s purchase price up to €500 (or market value if no receipt).
- Death from Injury: Reimbursement up to €500 for your pet’s purchase price (or market value if no receipt).
- Holiday Cancellation: Up to €500 for non-recoverable costs if you cancel your holiday due to your pet’s emergency life-saving surgery.
- Optional Travel Cover: Includes EU vet fee coverage for up to three trips (30 days each), quarantine costs (€1,500), PET Passport loss (€250), and emergency repatriation (€500).
Premier Plus
- Vet Fees: Up to €4,000 per period with reinstated cover at renewal. Ongoing conditions remain covered up to the €4,000 limit.
- Third-Party Liability: For dogs, up to €250,000.
- Boarding Fees: Up to €1,000 if you’re hospitalized for over four consecutive days.
- Advertising and Reward: Up to €1,000 for advertising costs and €200 for a reward if your pet is lost or stolen.
- Loss Due to Theft or Straying: Reimbursement of your pet’s purchase price up to €1,000 (or market value if no receipt).

General Exclusions for All Plans
- Pre-existing Conditions: Any injury, illness, or condition that occurred or started showing clinical signs before the policy start date.
- Injuries or Illnesses Occurring Shortly After Policy Start:
- For Essential: Injuries occurring within 48 hours of the policy start date.
- For Premier & Premier Plus: Injuries within 48 hours or illnesses within 14 days of the policy start date.
(These exclusions do not apply to renewed policies.)
- Non-Vaccinated Pets: Treatment costs for illnesses preventable through routine vaccinations.
- Preventative and Elective Treatments: Costs related to routine care, such as examinations, vaccinations, spaying/neutering, nail clipping, flea and worm treatments, or breeding and pregnancy.
- Restricted Dog Breeds: Third-party liability cover does not apply to breeds restricted under the Control of Dogs Act or its amendments, including but not limited to Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Pit Bull Terrier, and wolf hybrids.
- Commercial or Security Use: Any incidents involving pets used for commercial purposes, security, racing, or commercial breeding.
- Business Premises: Incidents occurring at your business or workplace.
We offer three distinct levels of cover, ensuring you can select the one that best fits your needs and budget:
- Essential Cover
- Covers injuries caused by accidents.
- Includes liability cover for dogs.
- Premier Cover
- Provides comprehensive illness and injury cover for up to 12 months.
- Premier Plus Cover
- Offers lifetime protection for illnesses and injuries, subject to policy terms and conditions.

To begin a new policy, your pet must be:
- Over eight weeks old and under eight years old for dogs.
- Under ten years old for cats.
Once your Pet Insurance is active, and as long as you continue to renew the policy in line with the Terms and Conditions, there is no upper age limit. We will ensure your pet remains covered.
Yes, this optional benefit is available with Premier and Premier Plus policies, providing cover for your pet while traveling within the European Union, subject to the policy’s terms and conditions.
