🔹 Diesel: Stays stable at €1.77 per litre
🔹 EV Costs: Reduced by 3 cents since last month.
Fuel Stability & Cost-Saving Tips for Drivers
While stability in petrol along with diesel prices is welcome, motorists can still take small steps for maximising their fuel efficiency.
📢 Elena Leao, Marketing & PR at AA Ireland, shared:
“Stable fuel prices may offer some relief for motorists, but with ongoing cost-of-living pressures, it’s always worth finding ways to stretch every euro at the pump. Simple habits like anticipating traffic flow to avoid harsh braking and acceleration, and ensuring your vehicle is serviced regularly, can make a real difference over time.”
💡 AA Members Save on Fuel!
Through the AA Ireland App, AA customers can continue to save 3c per litre on petrol and diesel and 6c per litre on milesPlus fuel at participating Circle K facilities.
📢 Leao added:
“The decrease in EV running costs is welcome news. As more drivers make the switch to electric, understanding charging plans and maximising off-peak rates can result in even greater savings.”
⚡ Switching to Electric?
To further reduce expenses, now is an excellent time to look into off-peak charging arrangements if you’re thinking about buying an EV.
