Croke Park is against the wire as they fight for Sam Maguire

Croke Park will be alive this Sunday as Mayo and Dublin fight it out in the All Ireland Senior Football Final at 3:30pm for the chance to lift the Sam Maguire. The trip from the west is full of value for Mayo fans as they take on Tyrone in the Minor Final at 1:15pm.
A full capacity crowd of over 82,000 fans is expected on Sunday and traffic is likely to be heavy heading into Dublin on the N4, the N2 and also on the M1. Don’t forget also you can expect the usual match day traffic in the Drumcondra area before and after the games. Stiles open at midday and a full Garda cordon will be in place around the stadium from about 11am onwards.
If you are around Dublin over the weekend then keep in mind Fleetwood Mac will perform at The O2 this Friday and Saturday; with doors opening at 6:30pm. Patrons are advised to avail of public transport where possible but if you choose to go your own way then bear in mind there is no parking at the venue and delays are expected on North Wall Quay, on East Wall Rd and over the East Link each night.
Then it’s time to dust off those running shoes and head along to the Phoenix Park on Saturday for the Dublin Half Marathon Road Racecourse. Road and gate closures will be in operation in the park between 7am and 1pm and you can expect extra traffic in the area as a result.
